In Morocco, beauty is kept behind walls - and inside Tigmi’s lies a veritable oasis. Watered by the hotel’s own well, laid to lawn and path, the grounds are dotted with banana palms, and orange and citrus trees; the walls drip with roses, hibiscus and bougainvillaea, their scents all mingling in a delicate aroma. As well as the various plunges – both private and public – there are two pools. The first is on the terrace, where sun-worshippers can stretch on loungers. The second (solar-heated all year to 26 degrees) is in a more secluded garden, where shade-seekers can laze on divans.
