Marrakech

Djemaa-el-Fna (the main square)
The square in Marrakech comes alive as the sun sets with acrobats, dancers, magicians, musicians, storytellers, snake charmers, tooth-pullers and water sellers in colourful costumes.

 

Souks
Narrow streets leading off Djemaa-el-Fna are filled with colourful merchandise. From Moroccan slippers ‘Babouches’ to carpets, ceramics, jewellery, leather, textiles, spices and oils. The souk is open daily  from 9am to 8pm, except for Fridays where it is closed from 12pm to 4pm.

Natural Morocco

Atlas Mountains
The Atlas Mountains offer walkers and hikers of all levels the opportunity to see the Morocco’s countryside at is wildest. Tours can be arranged by the Tigmi team for half- and full-day trips.

Walking Around Tagadert & Nearby Villages
There are many interesting walks of varying distances that can be taken in every direction from Tigmi. From a walk around and to the ancient Kasbah in Oumnass to the wide open terrain leading towards the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains.

Lake Talla Tak
There is a beautiful lake situated in the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains about 10-15 minutes drive from Tigmi where you can enjoy a traditional Berber meal in one of the restaurants on the shore. We are happy to make reservations and arrange taxis for you.

Leisure

Yoga
Bring your Yoga mat and practice our Yoga Room, or in any one of our discreet gardens, terraces or courtyards. Daily private tuition can be arranged (prior to arrival) and subject to availability. Golf
There are several courses in the Marrakech area some of which have been designed by the best course builders in the world. Our team at Tigmi will be very happy to help you play one (or more) of these courses during your stay. Golf clubs can be hired at the courses.

 

Horse riding
There are horse riding opportunities in the area. Some are close to Tigmi, others further afield. These cater for all levels of rider. Do ask or email for more details if you’re interested in exploring Morocco on horseback.
